Zed’z Cafe is located inside the iconic Adelaide Central Market. They specialise in European style foods and are well known for their soups, sandwiches and salads all freshly made on site. The stall is tiny and has only 3 tables inside but luckily there is plenty of seating outside in front of their stall provided by Adelaide Central Market.
My weak mocha was nice. The combination of chocolate and coffee was good. Not overpowering or bitter at all. The milk was nicely steamed and had a thin layer of creamy froth on top.
Watermelon, apple and strawberry juice. A super sweet flavour combination which I loved. It was tangy and refreshing.
Baked eggs. Eggs baked in spicy beans with toasted Turkish bread. The eggs were perfectly baked and rich golden egg yolks came gushing out as soon as I cut in to them. The spicy beans were magnificent, full of flavour and super spicy just the way I like it. The sauce was full of aromatic herbs and spices and smelt wonderful and the Turkish bread was crunchy and crispy. Another fantastic baked egg dish. I enjoyed every mouthful and highly recommend it.
They also had a range of freshly baked goods on display which looked delicious but silly me did not try any of them. I thought since I was at Adelaide Central Market I should have a look at what the many other stalls had on offer. I totally regret not taking something home for later.
Zed’z Cafe is an awesome straight forward cafe that do delicious food and coffee. Their food is simple but so fresh and flavourful. They have been part of the Adelaide Central Market for numerous years and have stood the test of time. Definitely come and try their all day breakfast menu and then have a wander around the bustling market.
