30 Nov Mövenpick Ice Cream
Mövenpick Ice Cream is a Swiss ice cream chain located just off of Hindley Street.
The venue is very modern, sleek and bright with a variety of pendant lights hanging from the ceiling giving the space a touch of warmth and colour.
Their ice creams are made with the best ingredients nature has to offer. With a combination of creativity and attention to detail every flavour created is a unique work of art that contain no artificial additives, flavours or colours.
They have an extensive range of 24 flavours available to suit any palate from delicious classics such as swiss chocolate and macadamia to more sophisticated flavours including creme brûlée and panna cotta.
They also have a variety of indulgent desserts and drinks that incorporate their ice creams.
Nut waffle. Freshly baked. Crunchy nut waffle served with Mövenpick hazelnut and macadamia ice cream, caramel sauce and caramelised nuts. The waffle was not crunchy at all. It was more fluffy and moist. A good choice for those who prefer a soft waffle but it did not suit my tastes. I prefer my waffles to be more crispy on the outside but the crunchy caramelised nuts made up for it.
Tasting basket. A selection of 3 Mövenpick ice cream scoops served in a freshly baked waffle cone basket. The basket was thin, golden and crispy with a sweet delicious crunch.
The ice creams were so smooth and creamy. The flavours were delicate, light and clean on the palate. I loved that they did not leave a lingering sweet or sickly after taste on my tongue as some other ice cream brands do.
Movenpick Ice Cream do beautiful traditional gourmet ice cream. With so many flavours you are bound to find something you like.
