Mad.Good Cafe is a fairly new cute and cosy little eatery located in the eastern suburb of Highgate.
The venue is furnished and styled in a minimalist style with pine wood floors and white walls giving off a bright and inviting atmosphere.
A palette of pastel colours give the place pops of colour and added warmth.
Quirky little figurines are scattered all around the place and sit atop cute cutlery boxes that are painted purple.
There is a gorgeous little sitting area at the end of the cafe that is perfect for relaxing and settling in.
Strawberry and basil iced tea. The tea was delightfully light and sweet while the basil was fresh and aromatic.
Weak mocha. The milk was smooth and creamy with a light layer of froth on top and the combination of chocolate and coffee were nicely balanced.
Smoked salmon with fennel, heirloom tomatoes, beetroot and citrus aioli. The salmon was delicate and silky smooth. The fennel added a crunchy texture and the beets were mild and sweet. The dish was very generous in size and beautifully presented.
Mad.Good Cafe is such an endearing little place that just gives off a pleasant charming quality. The menu is small but the quality and love put into each dish just shines through.
