Fix Specialty Coffee is a small cafe located in College Park specialising as their name suggests in coffee of course. The venue is so clean and simple inside, very bare and minimalistic.
Finally instead of having to drive all the way in to the CBD I am able to get boutique coffee in the suburbs close to my neighbourhood.
My weak mocha was beautiful with the perfect amount of coffee and chocolate. The milk had really good texture and a beautiful creamy layer of froth on top.
They only had cold bottled drinks which I normally wouldn’t order as I prefer home made drinks but the girl at the counter recommended the iced tea to me saying it was her favourite.
Peach and passionflower organic iced tea. It tasted like real freshly brewed tea unlike other bottled teas that just taste like sugar.
They have a very small menu with a selection of breakfast meals and toasted ciabattas as their main focus is on serving good quality coffee.
Flat pressed sourdough ciabatta. Prosciutto, pecorino and home made caramelised onion chutney. Great combination of salty prosciutto and sweet chutney. This toastie was generously huge and deliciously crispy.
They also had a selection of baked goods on offer.
Chocolate and raspberry brownie. The brownie was so rich and fudgey. Soft and moist on the inside with a nice crust on the outside and juicy raspberries bursting with sweetness.
Almond croissant from Abbots And Kinneys. Rich buttery croissant filled with frangipane topped with flaked almonds and generously dusted with icing sugar. The pastry was was crispy and beautifully flakey. Honestly they make the best pastries in Adelaide.
Fix Specialty Coffee is a hidden little gem providing fantastic coffee for the suburbs.
