Argo is undoubtedly the most popular place on The Parade. It doesn’t matter what day or time you come the place is always packed at capacity inside and outside. During weekends and peak times there is a long line up right out the door that goes around the corner.

They are currently expanding their store to make a larger space. One side has completely been redone and the other side is still undergoing renovations. The new décor is colourful, funky and gives off a modern vibe that suits the newly refurbished place.

Argo has the biggest menu I’ve ever seen. At least 3 to 4 pages each dedicated to breakfast, lunch and drinks so you are spoiled for choice. They also specialise in health and superfood meals like smoothie bowls, raw foods, green juices and have a cabinet full of protein balls.

Argo On The Parade drinks

My weak mocha and Harrison’s juice made of pineapple, mango, passion fruit and lime. This was thicker and felt like more of a smoothie but still tasted great.

Argo On The Parade mocha

My weak mocha was amazing! Made with rich Belgian chocolate really makes a difference. It really was heaven in my mouth.

Argo On The Parade purple toast

I ordered purple toast. Deliciously sweet roasted beetroot, labneh and za’atar puree on toast with poached eggs, Danish fetta, caramelised onions and dukkah on top. Finished off with roasted beetroot pieces, balsamic glaze and walnuts. I also got chorizo on the side.

My eggs were perfectly poached and the salty fetta balanced out the delicious sweet beetroot spread. My toast needed to be toasted a bit longer as it wasn’t very crisp. Everything else was delicious.

Argo On The Parade smashed avocado

A got the smashed avocado which came with a tomato, corn and red onion salsa and dukkah and added a poached egg on the side.

With the new renovations they’ve updated their menu slightly. A said she preferred the old smashed avocado without the salsa.

The servings here are huge and with such an extensive menu you are bound to find something you like. Whether you feel like classic bacon and eggs or if you’re feeling a bit more health conscious. Argo can definitely cater to your needs.

Don’t let the long lines put you off. What I love about Argo is even if I come here during peak times I never have to wait long for a table or for the food to come out. The service and staff are super efficient and the food is always consistently great. I’ve been here numerous times and have never been disappointed.
