303 By The Sea
303 Seaview Road. Henley Beach SA 5022
Breakfast and lunch 7 days
I was down by Henley Beach enjoying the beautiful warm weather when I remembered there was a breakfast place close by I wanted to try. 303 By The Sea is decked out like a little beach shack with lots of faded wood, turquoise furnishings and cute little potted succulents.
Ordering my usual weak mocha I found the coffee to be on the strong side even though I ordered weak otherwise the milk was nicely steamed and the froth was beautifully creamy.
They have an extensive menu of cold drinks ranging from natural homemade sodas, iced teas, blended smoothies and fresh juice combinations. I was amazed with the variety of cold drinks available. It made it so hard to choose.
I ended up ordering the mojito soda. It was so delicious and refreshing.
I ordered the skillet potatoes which came with chorizo, red peppers, caramelised onions, baby spinach, black olives and poached eggs on top.
Wow! This dish was so beautiful and so unique! The chorizo was deliciously salty and spicy and the potatoes were so soft and fluffy. I really liked the contrast between the sweetness of the red peppers and caramelised onions and the saltiness of the black olives. The highlight of the dish for me was of course the perfectly poached eggs which oozed rich delicious golden egg yolks as soon as I cut into them and the spinach added freshness to the overall dish.
A winner in my books and I will be adding it to my brunch favourites list. If you love your coffee strong and hot definitely head down to 303 By The Sea. The food is so delicious and unique and I can’t wait to come back and try their other cold drinks.
