Malobo is a cafe by day and a cocktail and wine bar by night. Serving modern Australian food, their menu is inspired by cuisines from all over the world.
The venue inside is decked out with a mixture of high and low wooden tables, parquetry along the front bar and a large colourful mural along the wall.
Outside there is the stunning view of the ocean.
Homemade kaffir lime lemonade. The lemonade was sweet, tangy and refreshing with delicate notes of citrus.
Pulled pork brekky bun with poached egg, bacon crumble, tomato chilli jam and turmeric mayonnaise. The pulled pork was moist and rich in meaty flavour but the juices caused my bun to become wet and soggy and fall apart. The eggs were perfectly poached and rich golden yolk flowed out as I cut into them.
Pulled pork sliders with crispy jamon ham, pickled jalapeño, cos lettuce and chipotle aioli. Very similar in taste to the brekky bun but with added slickness from the jalapeños.
Malobo is a lively and refreshing addition to the Henley Square with fantastic food and sensational views.
