Let Them Eat
Let Them Eat is a vegetarian eatery located inside the Adelaide Central Market. I can not say much about the décor as they share a space with a few other takeaway stores but it definitely has an upbeat fast paced market atmosphere.
They focus on delicious foods that are good for you and good for the environment with a belief that every customer walks away with happy taste buds, a satisfied belly and a sense of well being.
Hydrate boostie. Watermelon, grapes, cucumber and pineapple. The juice was not overly sweet and had a mild fruitiness.
Egyptian eggs with sweet corn and feta fritter. Soft poached eggs with crunchy dukkah crust, sweet corn fritter, avocado, baby spinach and eggplant relish. The eggs were perfectly poached and delicious golden yolks spilled out as soon as I cut into them. The dukkah crust added texture and spiciness to the beautiful eggs. The fritters were packed with corn kernels and the batter was not too heavy.
LTE big breaky. Poached eggs, baked beans, Moroccan mushrooms, baby spinach, avocado, toast and house made hash brown. The eggs were also perfectly poached. The mushrooms were so moist and juicy with lots of flavour. The house made hash brown was a really cool interpretation and had a crunchy seed outer coating which I really enjoyed.
Stuffed French toast. Eve’s organic fruit loaf filled with fresh banana, toasted pecans and honey. This was more like a sweet banana toastie.
Let Them Eat makes beautiful rustic vegetarian food that is delicious and full of flavour. This is the kind of food that anyone would be happy to eat whether you are vegan, vegetarian or omnivore and their dishes will satisfy even the biggest of meat eaters.
